After reading over the article, it looks like it is a valid source to use. Many people have shared this article and the website that has published this article looks like they are a valid website. I will be using this article to help me write my final paper on the right to worker’s health and safety in the workplace. Specifically, when I write about drug test within the workplace, this article will help me address the issues that I would like to touch on and write about.

The article talks about the pros and cons to outsourcing the HR department. More specifically I am focusing on the mental health aspect that the article brings up. The organization that posted this article was the Wall Street Journal, which would make this source credible. The source was also published fairly recently, so the facts addressed in the article are still valid. Some topics that the article hits on are the purpose of the test, employee assistance, rules when it comes to testing, the procedure, consequences, and enforcement. This article gives a good scope on how the process should work and what Human Resource departments need to do in order to make it fair to workers and give them rights. SHERM is a professional organization that talks about all things to do with Human Resource Management. Many professional organizations, individuals, and schools belong to this organization. After looking through SHERM, it is a viable source that can be used in my paper. I will be using this source to help defend my thesis and findings on the right for workers to have proper health and safety laws in the workplace. Walden, S. (2014, March 7). The four points that the article talks about in order to create a better environment for employees are establish open communication, implementing strict safety policies, coordinate with facility management, provide health and safety training. The article takes a more detailed look into these four topics. The article is written by a member that is part of the Trinet team. Trinet is an established Human Resource company. This source is valid because it comes from a well trusted and established company. I will be using this article to help me point out good strategies that HR departments should use in their company to help provide a safe and healthy work environment. Morrison, K. (2015, June 28). The article goes into depth about how traditionally the HR manager and safety manager do not usually interact with each other, but the author goes to explain how they should in order to create a safe environment. The article comes from a safety and health magazine which is sponsored by the national safety council. With an official organization backing the website, this source is valid. I will be using this article to help me describe a safe plan that organizations can use to provide employees on a safe working environment.

The article gives and explanation why these companies are bad to work for. Most of the reasons why these companies are so bad to work for can be connected to the Human Resource department. Some of the issues can be lack of work- life balance, the lack of fair pay, getting out of touch with management, and low levels of motivation and health. Huffington post is a reliable website that publish many well sourced news articles daily. Based off of my research I would deem this source to be a good source and reliable. I will be using this article to help me pint out weaknesses in some companies and why these issues need to be fixed in order for a better work environment.

The organization that posted this article is HR Pulse, a website that is dedicated to all things related with HR. The article also gives the credentials of the author and shows his previous work experience.. Based off of my research and the description of the author, I would say that this is a reliable source to use. I will be using this article to help me describe strategies that HR departments can use within their organizations to create a healthier work environment, and ultimately a more productive one.

Based off of the qualifications of the author I would deem this article a good source. I will be using this article to help explain why HR needs to focus on safety and health within an organization and not just on paychecks and other tasks.
